15 Years a Volunteer to Meals on Wheels
Fran has a friendly and upbeat personality that clearly makes a positive impact on the clients and staff at Camden Meals on Wheels.
Before moving to Camden in 2010, Fran lived in Dubbo and was a volunteer at Meals on Wheels Dubbo for around 10 years. When she arrived in Camden, it didn’t take long to find us. Fran has volunteered at Camden Meals on Wheels for five years now. On average she works two days per month at Little Corner Cafe. Her motivation for volunteering is simple – she loves doing it!

Fran says that the cafe outings are a lot of fun. She made special mention of the Morning Teas at Bunnings on their craft days – it’s always a really good morning tea, “thanks Bunnings Narellan!” In terms of feedback about the Camden Meals on Wheels service, Fran said that all the meals are good, the service is very busy, and it receives a lot of strong community support.
Fran is a loving grandmother of five and moved to Camden from Dubbo to be closer to her family. As a result, we’re very fortunate ourselves to have her join the “Camden Meals Family” too. We thank you for your dedication and ongoing contribution!
