Camden Meals on Wheels, at the forefront of battling loneliness in our community

Camden Meals on Wheels were proud to see one of our longest serving volunteers, Robert McCaughan and our beautiful client Loraine in a recent article in The Daily Telegraph (Saturday 6 March 2021) discussing the important role we play in helping seniors to manage loneliness.

Robert talks about how the visit from Camden Meals on Wheels may be the only visitor some of clients have all week.  “A lot of them want you to stay there and talk to them. A lot of them are on their own.”

We thank Robert, and all of our volunteers for the important role they play in helping to battle loneliness and make life just a little brighter for our community.
